During my solo travels, I spent 2 nights in a very cozy single room. Though the room was quite small, it felt welcoming and provided good value for money. I appreciated the evening meal, which was tasty, as well as the local beer selection. The mattress, however, could use some renewal since I could feel the springs after a long day.

Had a cozy stay with a clean room, but the bathroom could use some serious attention. Dinner was choice, though! Chur for those hearty meals!

modern room decor, cozy pub atmosphere, inviting outdoor dining
The bathroom was underwhelming, no variety in breakfast options!!! Be prepared for limited local amenities on Sundays and a very small room that could feel constricted after a long day!!!

We stayed for 1 night in a Double or Twin Room. The room was super clean, modern, and welcoming. It felt cozy despite being small. The setting was beautiful, and the staff made check-in a breeze. I'm definitely coming back! 😊

the decor in the room was quite pleasant, but the bathroom was frankly below what anyone would expect, mold and rust are so hideous. also, i really thought a hotel of this caliber would have better breakfast options than asking me to head out to the village for fruit. almost gave a good review, but just couldn’t!

Would be happy to recommend for a weekend jaunt
Comfortable room, cozy pub, where I enjoyed great food and appreciated the outdoor dining area. The heating in the room was perfect for the chilly weather outside.
Nothing to improve upon.

Cozy and clean stay!
Had a nice 2-night stay in a clean single room. The heating was a lifesaver since it was quite chilly outside, even in July! The cozy pub area with outdoor dining added a nice touch to enjoying their excellent food. Only thing is, Wi-Fi could be slower at times.

We had a wonderful time exploring the cozy pub atmosphere, enjoying warm welcomes from the staff. The rooms felt fresh and modern, and we appreciated the thoughtful decorations. The kids particularly loved the outdoor space to unwind after a day of exploring Malmesbury.
My kids wished breakfast options included something besides cooked fare.
